Fido

Fido is a dark, and incredibly pure take on Zombies. It's a 1950's-esqu "Perfect" world. Where women are submissive, men go golfing all the time, children are seen but not heard. Except, there are also Zombies. Romero Zombies too, anyone who dies comes back. But they're used to them by now, so the Zombies are given collars and become overgrown pets, basically. You've got to give this movie a watch, it's EASILY the least scary Zombie movie I've ever watched (that wasn't just so cheesy it was bad) but it really is a good movie.

The Truman Show

The Truman Show is one of those brilliant movies, the kind that sneaks up on you. It seems like a simple premise that complicates itself until you feel like you really know Truman. You've got to watch this movie. Especially if you've ever done any work in the entertainment industry or if you have ever watched reality tv.

Devil May Cry

So I'm cheating a bit, this isn't really a movie. It's a twelve episode tv show. Still, it's pretty badass. And it's still something worth watching on a rainy day. The particular .torrent I'm going to link you too is in Japanese and it's Hardsubbed in English, but there is an English Dub out there if you're willing to look. Still, crazy action sword/gunfighter, half-demon Dante kicks the shit out of things. If you've ever played Devil May Cry, that's pretty much what you're looking at here.

This movie is brilliant, for a 26 minute long film it got me thinking for hours. I think everyone that has ever had an intellectual conversation, ever, should watch this. It should be a required movie in school. It is that great. I tried for at least a half an hour to write up a summary that didn't ruin the movie, and I couldn't.
