Big Fish is a beautiful and moving story about a man who never believed his fathers wild stories and that man's journey into his father's mind. Slowly learning the meaning behind his father's stories and how ultimately his father lied to tell the truth that he couldn't tell.
The Host is a Korean drama movie about a normal family that gets stuck in an extraordinary situation. Being that the name of the movie is "The Host" you might think that extra ordinary situation is some sort of virus, or maybe that a parasite is involved. Not really, it's about a Giant Fish Monster that sorta eats people but not really. Yeah, seriously. It's not all that bad either to be honest. Take a watch.
It's the musical that guys are allowed to like. The songs are actually really good and musical buffs love this movie too. And the Audry 2 plant is the coolest thing ever. It's amazing how good it looks. Plus the Bill Murray dentist sequence is awesome.
This is a silly Disney Comedy that isn't accurate to the original legend at all. Most of the characters are wrong, some aren't even in the right story. It's still entertaining and it's definitely worth watching if you're looking for a simple family movie to watch, or even just a nice PG movie. Besides, James Wood is in it.
Edward Norton could shit on Camera and I would like it. He's awesome, but this is the NOT shitty remake of The Incredible Hulk. It's full of Badass, bio-engineering, and a cool villian. This movie really takes a lot from the comic, which is a good thing, and runs with it. An Awesome Comic Book movie that everyone should watch at least once.
This is probably one of the most Dramatic movies I'm ever going to post in this blog. It's painfully real, and should be watched by EVERY SINGLE PERSON AT LEAST ONCE. Edward Norton's character is a racist skinhead that learns what he was doing was wrong. But now he has to convince his brother, who he taught to be racist, that racism is wrong before it's too late.
Another Zombie comedy, from China this time! A sort of semi-spoof of Dawn of the Dead, the movie follows Crazy Bee and Woody as they get stuck in a mall after hours filled with Zombies. This is a dubbed movie, so be ready for that, but it's great in how not seriously this movie takes itself.
Feast is a messed up movie, do not watch in the presence of kids kind of messed up. Basically, a bar full of random people gets trapped inside when monsters attack. The rag tag group of survivors must think of a plan to escape before the creatures get inside. Sprinkled with comedy. Neat eh?
