Heavy Weights

This is your standard Disney fare. Fat kids get bullied and learn in the end that all you have to do is believe in yourself and you can be happy.

But wishy-washy aside, I still enjoyed this movie. It's a dumb little movie with predictable characters  but it never stopped being fun. And the race at the end, it doesn't matter that you know the ending, it's the journey that matters.

Vampire Party

I stumbled on this movie once, not realizing it's in French I bought it off Amazon cuz it was only a few bucks. Even with it being French I still enjoyed the movie. It's premise is that a bunch of normal humans are invited to a Vampire gathering to serve as food. This movie lies to you, it breaks the fourth wall, and does whatever the hell it wants. I enjoyed it.

This is the manliest movie I've ever seen. Every sequence is pure awesome. Basically The A-Team gets double-crossed by some traitors and framed for a crime bad enough to have them discharged from the army. They then go and clear their name by blowing shit up, and flying a tank.

This was a strange little movie I watched on a whim with my roommates. It's basically about Ned, a guy that honestly just believes that if you give people the chance to do the right thing, they will. It's really rather heartwarming, and hilarious.

Hilarity ensues as a clownfish and his friend try to find the clownfishs' lost son. I suppose I could write a legitimate summary of this movie, but seriously, who hasn't seen this? Maybe you saw it in school, maybe you saw it in theatres. Maybe you caught it at your nephews 8th birthday party. Whatever, this movie is great and if you don't own it, you should. Give it another watch and lose yourself in a legitimately awesome, G-rated movie.

This movie is ridiculous, and is by no means a masterpiece, but it's a great movie to sit down and watch with some buddies on the weekend. Just grab a beer an get ready for a movie staring the guys from South Park. Needless to say, it's a comedy.

I normally try to keep a light tone with these "reviews" but this movie, while fantastic, was also quite depressing at moments. I won't lie, for anyone who doesn't like to be saddened by movies, this is one of the few that actually made me tear up in the theatre. It's about a mentally handicapped man that is kind of taken in by the towns football couch and becomes a sort of mascot for the team and the town. A bit hard to describe.

This is a strange and occasionally depressing story about an Autistic girl that has to
deal with mobsters in order to get the money for her mother to get cancer treatment. That part is kinda depressing.

The cool part is that because of her Autism she is a ninja. And there is an Autistic/Breakdance/Fight near the end of the movie.
