Iron Man was awesome, it's a well done comic book movie so that's already a plus. Robert Downey Jr. is brilliant as Tony Stark. The movie is a combination of hilarious and badass. In several scenes both. It even includes the obligatory, good guy walks slowly away from an explosion scene. If you like action/comedy movies you are required by law to watch this.
